Problem In support of the defense in this high-tech patent case, our client needed to lay a foundation for the judge, who understood almost nothing about the technology of optical networks.		Solution Working with the lead and second attorney, we developed a viewer-friendly script and produced a television-styled "magazine" tutorial, employing a host, original music, documentary video, and over 25 original 2D and 3D animations. The tutorial was then burned onto a CD, allowing the judge to review, at home and by section, those areas she felt needed the most attention. The result was an informed judge, and based on her response to motions, an especially diminutive settlement for our client.
