Problem
Plaintiff claimed that an error by our clients had caused plaintiffs to lose their land and their ability to develop it, with damages allegedly in excess of $20M.

The minor clerical error had taken place and had been immediately rectified, but many years had passed obscuring the event's lack of impact.

Solution
Working with defense counsel, the insurance company's counsel and a jury consultant, we identified key arguments, including the fact that plaintiff had lost the land to profligate spending against the property, eventually losing it to bankruptcy.

Rather than simply show the jury reams of spreadsheets, we constructed this animation that visualizes the debt against the property.

Midway through trial, the court (and the jury via exit interviews) dismissed the claims.
