Problem
In this bet-the-company litigation, plaintiff "Goliath" sued our much smaller "David" company
client for infringing on its global positioning product. Although defense counsel felt that
jurors would favor our underdog position in this battle, they wanted to reinforce the idea
that an avaricious, multi-billion dollar company was trying to crush its competition
through litigation, not innovation.

Solution
Working to focus the story, we contextualized the two companies, visually showing how one
far eclipsed the other in annual revenue, global reach and product diversification —
except in the one area where our client held a valuable patent. Animations demonstrated
how our technology worked and how it differed markedly in scope and purpose
from plaintiff's claimed patent.
The case was settled favorably and our client
remains very much in business.
